Heavenfest 2011

Heavenfest + one Libbi +3  1.5 liter bottles of water (4.5 liters total) - 97.7 degrees Fahrenheit + meeting KJ52 = One very good day! This year I went with my (newly) 13 year old sister Abby, her Friend Abby B. , and my cousin Victoria. Though we saw a few people from church, it was mostly us! We had an awesome time, I mean, corn dogs and kettle corn always help! My favorite part of the day was when I was about to go to the VOX tent, and I noticed a golf cart by the side. In the golf cart was none other than KJ52! I went up to ask for a picture and an autograph, and instead I got to talk to him for about ten minutes! It was wonderful. Really. It was much more fun...er...Funner this year than it was last year. I would encourage any of you Coloradans to go next year if you are able to!

Sincerely,
Libbi H.

Hey libbi,
It was 99 degrees. My sunburns testify. It was a good time. Too bad we didnt run into eachother there.

Haha @ Josh, Too bad we didn't run into each other! Which bands did you see? It was definitely hot. I almost melted. My flip flops will never be the same...

I saw jeramy camp, mercy me and phil keagy. And of course I heard skillet. You couldnt not hear them. I was out side the south gate waitng for Jenny to give her her ticket when they were playing monster and it was like being righ next to them. I dont like skillet. Sorry about your flip flops. I went in with black shoes and came out with a light tan.

Haha, I heard skillet too (Unfortunately! Lol) My cousin said she wanted to see them, I told her I wouldn't be with her! The lyrics to monster are horrendous, no redeeming quality at all.

Yeah, I don't get how people can listen to that and call it glorifying to God. How have you been doing this summer?

Pretty good! I have been swimming a ton, and I have read a lot of books. I wish it wasn't so hot, but I suppose I will manage :) How does it feel to be out of school? my guess would be that it feels wonderful :) Are you planning on going to a college anywhere this fall, or are you going to wait a while? I am not going to go anywhere for a year or so after I graduate, since I won't quite be an adult yet. How is your summer going?

Hey Libbi
It's rather streesful being out of high school. Now you enter life! scary. I'm doing chambers this year. I have to pay for it myself and thats not easy. I've been working all summer. Are you a senior his year?

Yeah, I am a senior this year. I am really excited to have no more school, kinda sad to have no more school, and kinda scared to have to get a job :) I will probably have to work a year before I go to college, because the college I want to go to doesn't accept you until you are 18. I may take a few classes at Chambers while I wait :) Where are you working?

Josh Martin said...

That would bw sweet if you took chambers for a year! I work for Northern Colorado Karate. I teach two classes. I dont know if you know JJ Huff (Jerimiah) or not, but I teach him. I also tought Todd for a bit and I teach the Keiths. You should start! Its been the best 7 years 9 months and 26 days of my life.
