Book Review: Perfectly Unique by Annie F. Downs

Have you ever wondered why you are here on this earth?  I know I do. Why should I, Libbi, the tall, somewhat nerdy, book-obsessed homeschooler be on this earth? In this deep, yet funny book, Annie Downs explains why we are here. In easy-to-read chapters, which are split into different segments, the simplicity of this book is perfect for every 13-18 year old. If you know someeone who is struggling in their relationship with God, strugggling to accept their body, or even someone who just needs a boost of self esteem, this beautifully written book is a perfect gift.

I loved:

• The cover. I have always sort-of had a crush on converse. Odd? Yes. True? Also yes.
• The writing style. I always love it when a book reads like a conversation.
• The humorous stories. You want to know the number one way to get me to like a book? Funny stories. Seriously. I love them.

I disliked:

• Nothing. I can’t really even think of something Idisliked. It was a really good read.

Overall:

I thought this book was the perfect addition to any young lady’s library. If you have a tween or teen girl to buy a gift for, this book would be perfect! Of course, if you paired this book with a dark-purple pair of Converse, it would be an even better gift. (If you feel led to buy me a pair, I won’t object ;)
