Pumpkin Dessert

It's about that time of year when you just want to eat pumpkin pie. Sometimes, however, pumpkin pie grows bland, and overly traditional. I am going to post my FAVORITE pumpkin dessert recipe. It is almost a million times better then pumpkin pie. It is simple too!
Pumpkin dessert 350 for 50 min
1 29 oz can pumpkin
1 12 oz can sweetened condensed milk
4 tsp pie spice
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup sugar
3 eggs
Beat eggs, then add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into 9x13 pan.
1 package yellow cake mix
1-1/2 cubes butter
Sprinkle with 1 package of yellow cake mix. Melt melt butter and drizzle over cake mix. Top with pecans if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.

Hi Libbi! I just stumbled across your blog as I was looking the other contestants for Feminine Fashion Week. You have a gorgoues blog...and I love the name...haha! My family actually makes a dessert that is a lot like that {we call it "Pumpkin Stuff"} but instead of using yellow cake mix, we use spice cake mix....which I personally think tastes better..but some people think it's too rich, so I guess it's just a matter of opinion. :)

Anyway, I am now your 11th follower!
