 For Easter, my entire family loves dying eggs. It is one of our {favorite} traditions

About two years ago, I discovered how to "batik" eggs- and since then, me and my sisters love doing them! {we use tape and dye :) }

I think this is one of my favorite traditions! I am known as the "Egg Jedi"  because my eggs are always take the longest, and I usually try and eat my sisters' eggs so that I will not have to crack mine.

My Easter was so great. We went to church, and many people gave their testimonies. We then went to my grandparent's house, and ate ham, scalloped potatoes, and about 546 different forms of sugar. I ate a lot of Peeps. Which are mi favorito. I am so blessed.

The Thickening Plot

Life is good for Charlotte. She is the owner of a chic, modern bridal salon in Birmingham, Alabama she is engaged to an awesome man, and she is certain she will find the perfect dress for her wedding. It is smooth sailing until she purchases a hundred year old trunk, with the lock on front welded shut. Her curiosity piqued, she goes to great lengths to find out the mysterious history behind the lovely wedding dress the trunk contains. Through her journey, she begins to discover more about herself, and doubt her upcoming wedding. In the end, she must find out the truth of her beautiful heritage.

I ♥

·        The multiple stories woven into the book. Each one was so unique, yet so very similar.

·        The characters. I love it when the character seems like a friend.

·        The detail. Just the way the author described the dress, and the way she described the characters. It is a true art.

I Didn’t ♥

·        A couple romantic paragraphs. Not awful, but something for parents to be wary of.

·        The beginning was a bit slow, not unbearably, but it takes a minute to get into the book.

Overall

This book is worth your time. The perfect book for an airplane ride, or a road trip. This book would also be fun to give at a bridal shower, or as a party favor at a bridal shower. I would say this book is worth your money.

I absolutely adore eShakti *staring at dress drooling* It is a wonderful invention. My dress fit absolutely perfectly, it couldn't have fit better! Not to mention it had pockets! Take the most wonderful, versatile, beautiful, comfortable dress you have, multiply it by two pockets and 100, and you will have an idea how much I love this dress. I received a lot of compliments today, and it has stood the test of sitting down, standing up, jumping up and down, kneeling, and about every other exercise as well! I disliked NOTHING about eshakti. I adored the intricate details: the scalloped hem, rickrack trim, and overall beauty were great aspects of this dress! I will definitely be purchasing from them in the near future (think, graduation dress) I would highly recommend eshakti and their products to anyone who wears clothes. The Truth About Swimsuits.

By this time of the year, every female being is searching for a swimsuit that is cute, and fits perfectly. Through all this shopping, many of us tend to forget modesty within the search. My whole life I have a a mindset that swimsuits just have a different design then clothes. They are nearly always modest with a skirt over them. I was wrong. I never realized that swimsuits are no different then clothes when considering modesty.A Bikini and Bikini bottoms show just as much skin as wearing just a bra and underwear. Consider these quotes from guys when considering bikinis.

      "When you're basically wearing underwear (or less than that) all you do is show off your body. 99 percent of guys see all of you, regardless of what body parts you think you're covering, when you wear that kind of swimsuit."

     "These are as immodest as they get. Please stay away from these; they show way too much skin and act as a stumbling block to guys."

     " From a guy's standpoint there is no difference between walking around in a bikini and walking around in your underwear. There might be a difference, but to a guy, there is not. That is how revealing it is to a guy"

      As you can see, in a guy's mind there is no difference to a guy between a bra and a bikini. Even  if it is a yellow polka-dotted one *tear* As young ladies, we don't want to be treated like trash. but if we walk around in our less-than-underwear bikinis, it is hard for us NOT to be treated that way. My standard for modesty regarding swimsuits is due in part to "The Lost Art of True Beauty." Basically, keep everything you wouldn't show at church covered :)
